Zara: Yeah that's pretty much what most people agree on. Eco cars in cheaper car retailer ranges.

Keetsa: Thank you for posting your blog about this story too. Looking forward to reposnding :)

The idea is great and if completed by the deadline of 2010 will make a huge change to the envirminment. I agree that the idea would be more benficiary if applied to cars that are more readily seen and afforadble like the small student cars!

Yes I see your point. But hopefully other car retailers will catch onto this idea and develop it for a cheaper price.

Like you said an eco friendly fiesta. It is more for the ordinary, everyday person.

It does seem like progress has been made but I'm not sure (considering the price of a Porche) how much effect this will have on combating climate change - shame! Maybe Ford will get their arses in gear and get us an eco friendly fiesta or something.

Apparently there are eco friendly cars out there but not gas-electric hybrid cars.

I hope so to, that this technology can be reformatted and created at a cheaper price in other car manufacture retailers.

Just from speaking to people in Birmingham about it generally, their first reaction is "How much is that going to cost?"

It's pretty funny, but raises an interesting point.
