Police called to handle rubbish

This is exactly why we should recycle….

Police were called to a quarry after finding photos of a murder scene on site.

Two gruesome shots of a half naked woman were found provoking the attendance of the local force – only to discover they were from the ITV show, Wire in the Blood.

According to the Daily Mirror, the Durham police spotted they were a fake at once.

Perhaps if there had been an onsite shredder and paper disposal unit the pictures would never have been left at the scene.

What other props, pictures or other pollutants have been left after the producers and actors have moved on?

  1. That’s a good question actually. I can’t imagine in a fast paced industry like that, they would give up much time to consider eco-friendly waste disposal.

Even though they probably got loads of rubbish every week.

  2. Well spotted eco angle! Would be good to get a quote (or no comment) from the production company?

  3. I agree with Kasper – I have witnessed everyday offices not bothering to recycle, so the big production companies like that would feel that they have better things to concentrate on. It’s a shame!

  4. There are so many companies that dont supply adequate recycling facitilies..
It was evident at our university last year too. I ended up campaigning for more bins on campus through the uni magazine.
