Guide to Birmingham’s Recycling Centres
With Birmingham upping there anti to become greener and reduce carbon emissions as part of the 10:10 campaign, we take a look at the different recycling centre’s in Birmingham.
The 10:10 campaigns main ambition is to cut carbon emissions by 10% in 2010. Scientists have said it’s going to take at least 18months, however the campaign is determined to get enough people involved and achieve it by the end of 2010.
An increasing amount of businesses, organizations and schools have already got involved with the 10:10 campaign, we take a look at what Birmingham’s businesses are doing to help.
West Midlands based firm, Smurfit Kappa is one of the leading corrugated packaging manufactures in the UK. The company appears to be contributing well to the 10:10 campaign by operating an experienced service, packaging all types of paper-based cardboard.
Another company that is doing their bit for the 10:10 campaign is Green World Recycling LTD. The non-profit organisation collects used clothes and shoes in order to raise funds for environmental sustainable projects in the developing world.
