Tuesday Walkabout

Birmingham has our very own outdoor gym going on every week with the Friends of Kings Norton Nature Reserve’s Tuesday Walkabout.

The sessions are a mix of relaxing in good company, enjoying our local habitat and exercising by performing essential jobs such as picking up litter, cutting plants where necessary or building a boardwalk.

The sessions are yearlong and up to a dozen volunteers are usually involved. They run from 10:30AM and volunteers are encouraged to participate for however long they wish.

The Friends of the Kings Norton Nature Reserve are an informal community group of volunteers that are dedicated to preserving our local area.

If you are interested in getting involved, you can check out the Friends of Kings Norton Nature Reserve website or consider signing up the newsletter.
